- What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
EM Media-backed feature films have achieved international acclaim and won prestigious accolades, including 8 BAFTAs, 10 BIFAs, 3 Michael Powell awards and over 30 international film festival awards.
The latest EM Media-backed feature film is released at cinemas across the UK on Friday 1 April. Jim Loach's moving and inspirational film, Oranges and Sunshine charts the true story of Nottinghamshire social worker Margaret Humphreys' campaign to uncover one of the greatest social scandals of our time: the forced 20th century migration of British children to Australia.

I believe EM Media would be the correct media institution for the distribution of our piece. After researching into EM Media and their work, our film would fit their criteria as a low budget, independent, British film. However EM Media is an independent, not for profit organisation. Only raising finance to invest in and support the digital content industries across the East Midlands region. Therefore it wouldn’t be able to finance my product.
Working Title Films is a British film production company, based in London. The company was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983. It produces feature films and several television productions. Eric Fellner and Bevan are now the co-owners of the company.
